昔の日本がそうであったように
市場で長く愛される、生活に紐づいた、生活の一部となるような長く愛される商品を提供したいと考えています。
誰もが知っている、見かけたことがある、昔からあったと言われるような広く深く根差した商品を作ることができれば嬉しいです。
爆買いという言葉が出る前、2015年より少し前の中国の市場ではtaobao(タオパオ)がネット上ではメジャーなプラットフォームであり現在ほど日本の商品は並んでいませんでした。
求められた商品は主に日本でも知名度のある商品であり、特に子供人気のあるキャラクター商品やベビー用品は非常に人気がありました。
しかし爆買いとともに人気商品の横流しが横行し、市場価格は安売り合戦に。
そこに商品の偽物も交じり、嫌気がさした消費者から結果的に商品自体が敬遠される運びとなりました。
横流ししていた商社・小売りはその不良在庫を手放すため更に投げ売りが酷くなるという悪循環です。
卸問屋から嫌われた商品は流通に乗ることはありません。
一時のバズに合わせた大量販売も良いかもしれませんが、
日常に根差した長く愛される商品を普及させることがメーカーにも市場にとっても良い状態であると考えています。
